The 3rd and Jth Battalions of the Trentham Rifle Brigade (haul oi Livcr--1 pool’s Own), which are being called up for the 12th prox.. will be mobilised at Trentham, and after receiving their equipment will he marched out lour days later to Muugaroa, where they will go into camp on May Morn Mill property. They are being sent into camp there in order that they may be ’able to complete their musketry on the Trentham Rifle Range. This, with their preliminary training, is expected to occupy six weeks. The 3rd ami Ith “Trents” will then be transferred 1,1 Rangiotu camp, where they will com plete their course of training in Nen Zealand. ) The officers (on probation) for the 3rd and 4th Battalions, Trentham Bille Brigade, have been posted as follows':—3rd Battalion.—Officer Com'manding, Major J. The Chairman of the dairy factory, Mr Richards, undertook at the request of the meeting to call the suppliers together, to consider the factory '■contribution.for the current year.
