AT HAREFIELD HOSPITAL. THEIR MAJESTIES' INTEREST IN AUSTRALIANS. United Press Association. (Received, 12.10 pan.) London, September 23. Sir George R'eid, presenting tlie Distinguished Conduct Medal to men-in the Harefield Hospital, said : "Ton will show yourselves the greatest if, these honors leave you\the same modest and unpretending nuiiily l'eUo\ys, you were before. You must be proml of the interest the King and Queen have shown in your work. The other day I wrote to the King to tell him about Harefield, and within four hours of receiving the letter their Majesties visited the Hospital. Queen Alexandria has expressed to me her admiration of the Australians. When T recently visited Sir John French's headquarters, the Prince qf Wales called on me and personally expressed his appreciation of the efforts "of the' Australians.
