A Berlin wireless states* that German artillery commenced a bombardment of the Servian positions on the south bank of Danube,‘‘near Semeudria, driving out the Serbians and silencing their batteries. 1 \ • I Vienna, September 21. Austro-German batteries bombarded the Serbians on the south banks of the Save and Danube, and also at Belgrade. We surprised and destroyed Serbian advanced detachments at the Drina estuary.
