DEATH OF A BOY. PBtt Press Association. Wellington, September 19. A fatal accident befell a boy named Jack Ward, aged six years, yesterday. He was riding on the coupling between the Gas Company's motor lorry and a trailer, and when he went he went to jump off be slipped. The trailer passed over him, crushing one leg, and the little fellow died in hospital last evening. CRUSHED BETWEEN TRUCKS. Wellington, September 19. Thomas Quinn, who was injured on Monday last through being crushed between the buffers of trucks on the railway wharf, died in hospital last night.
