A communique says: South-west of Pcroune the Germans attacked after exploding a very powerful mine. We repulsed them in the regions of Berrv-Au-Bac and in the Champagne district north of Camp Chalons. There lias been marked artillery activity on both sides east of Saint Mihiel. We put out of action a German anti-aircraft batterv.
