JpUBERT, By Commander (Rothschild—Eme) out of Rose Bloom (Foulshot—Puriri Mare), General Joubert is a rich bay horse, standing 15.3 in height, of great courage and beautiful conformation; thoroughly sound, and possesses great speed aud stamina, which he has demonstrated by winning many important races in good time at Auckland, Wanganui, and elsewhere. As will be seen by his pedigree, this horse possesses two of the greatest strains of blood in Australia—viz., Rothschild and Musket. FEE for Season: £4 4s, payable before January Ist, 1916. Franz, sir 6 of Havoc, is full-brother to Fredrick (2.20), The Heir (2.17), and Fritz, that great trotter which held the Australasian record for many years, Franz is the sire of A.L. Franz (2.18), Franrocia (4.35), Floranz (3.34), Franzie (2.14', and a great many others too mrneious to mention. Murmur, dam of Havoc, is one of the best brood mares in New Zealand, she having produced Havoc (4.36), Sonol (2.12), Hova (1.37), Highden (2.26), and Skylark (7.32 for 3 miles). Havoc has proved himself a great racehorse, winning over all distances. He won the Auckland Trotting Cup as a three-year-old in 4.57, Plumpton J 4.46, King George 4.47; second to Emjmeliue in 2.15, and second to King ;Co]e in 4.31, in which race he had to ;break an Australasian record.
