NEWTON KING'S HAYMARKET REPORT. At m.y Haymarket sale on Saturday, the 11th hist., I had a full yarding of pigs, and all classes, with the exception of weaners, realised an increase of from 2s to 3s per head.. On the other hand, weaners were slightly lower in price than they were at my previous sales. Nevertheless all lii '93 met with fair competition, and Avcle all sold at the fall of the hammer. I quote as follows:—Weaners (small) 9s 6d to 12s, medium 13s to 15s, good 16s 6d to £l, slips 21s to 23s 6d, stores (small) 25s to 27s 6d, medium 29s to 31s, good 32s 6d to 36-j 6d, small porkers 39s to 425, breeding sows £5 ss, calves Is to lis. set discs' £6. *T. LAMASON'S WEEKLY REPORT Last Saturday our usual weekly sale was held, when we had a very large attendance and bidding was very spirited for all lines offered. We quoted as follows: —Hens 2s to 2s 9d, ducks 2s 9d, roosters Is 9d to 3s, potatoes (seed) 2s Od, small bags 10s to 12s, sacks carrots 2s 9d to 3s 6d sack, apples 6» to 8a 6d (401 b case).
