HARDWICK BEATS POOLEY. ;« Auckland,‘ September lb. The match*.between H. Hardwick, of Sydney-, and A. Pooley, Auckland, for the Australasian heavyweight boxing championship was won by Hardwick. The' referee ended the contest in the seventh round after Pooley had been ■knocked down five times -in the sixth and seventh round. The match was even, in the first round, but after that Hardwick had things all his own way.
