NOTICE is hereby given of the institution of a Special Order. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Section 119 of'“The Counties” Act, 1908,” and its amendments, the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of defraying the cost of repairing and improving the Denbigh Road, the Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Denbigh Road Separate Rating District, comprising sections 1 to 5 inclusive,- 24 To : 32 inclusive, Block XVI. ! ,Egmont Survey District; section's 1; 2,3, 11, 12, 13, 1-1, Mangamii district, Block XYL, Egniont Survey District; sections 4 to 10 inclusive, 1 " 15 to 2‘2; inclusive and half of 2ii. Alangamii District', Block XllL, Huirda SiWvey District: such rate to be for the year ending 31st March, 1916, and to be payable in one sum on the' 15th day of September, 1915, at the County Office, Stratford. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER, "VTOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Whangatmombna County Council, held oil the 27tli day of July, 1915, the following resolution was passed, Mid "ill he submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to he held oil TUESDAY, the 28th day of September, 1915, at 1 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Whangamomona. RESOLUTION :~ lu pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Counties’ Act, 1908,’L and amendments, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves as follows, by way of Special Order;— For the purpose of providing for the expenses of street improvement, forming and kerbing footpaths, and lighting the streets in the township of Whangamomona J the said Council hereby makes and levies a separate rate of three-pence (.'id) in the pound, on the rateable value of all rateable properties in the said township of Whangamomona for the year commencing on the first day of April, 1915, and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1916, and declares that such separate rate shall he payable in one sum on the 14th day: of October, 1915, at the offices of, the Council.
