With some 489 men on boan this was no small task. The tot included 27 hospital cases and | convalescents. Later in the mon ing, the Minister of Defence (Hot James Allen) and party visited tl transport. The Tahiti is expected 1 berth at 3 o’clock this afternooi when an official welcome will be giv< to the men.
