Paris, September 10. A commmlique states: The enemy attacked our positions at Lingekopf and Barrenkopf, using asphyxiating shells. Our first line of trenches at Schratzmaennelle were evacuated owing to the enemy using blazing liquids. By a counter attack we regained most of the lost ground. The enemy gained a footing hut was subsequently ejected at* the summit at Hartmanns weilerkopf. v Our aeroplanes bomba riled mines and batteries in the Xonnenbruck wood, the railway station at Lutterhach, ami dropped thirty shells on the railway station at Grandpre.
