Mr Archibald asserts his perfect innocence in the Dumbn incident. The letter sent through Archibald includes the following passage: "Even if strikes fail to come off, it is probable we shall extort under pressure of a crisis more favourable conditions lor our pooi- down-trodden fellowcountrymen. These white slaves at Bethelem work twelve hours a day, seven days a week. All weak persons succumb and become consumptive." ANTI-MUNITION CAMPAIGN. BERNSTORFF AND DUMBA. METHODS ALIKE. The Tribune states that Count Rernstorff's campaign among the munition workers is similar to Dnni ba's advertisement offering financial aid. good positions, and peaceful industries to Germans abandoning the munition work.
