ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
KILLED WHILE BUSHFELLING. Per Press Association. Pahiatua, September 6. Alexander Durrand, aged 30, single, was killed while bush-felling at Berkahn’s Camp, Waione, in the Pongaroa district, on Saturday. Deceased was said to bo an ox-navy man, belonging to North Scotland, and bad only been on the job three days. The body was brought to Pongaroa for the inquest.
