On Saturday evening last the members of the Stratford Club entertained Messrs F. X. Fussell and L. R. Curtis, on the eve of their departure from Stratford to join the non-coms, camp of the Eighth Reinforcements. The presentations were made on behalf of the- members by the President, and several members spoke in eulogistic terms of the good qualities of both .M essrs Fussell and Curtis and of the appreciation felt in the high sacrifice which actuated them in leaving to serve their Country and Empire in this time of peril. The attendance was exceedingly large, especially of country members, who journeyed from long distances to be present at the function.
