HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. “The Forged Parchment,” series 11 of Adventures of Kathlyh, is the feature film on an excellent programme at His Majestfs Theatre to be screened for the last time to-night. Theifilm is simply teeming with sensation, and much color is lent by the magnificent jungle scenery, which cannot fail 1&0 escape the eye. A fine programme is screened in addition, chief of which, perhaps, is an emotional entitled “The Mall at the Key,” the principal actor beillg it discharged telegruphist, who ‘saves it fearful disaster_in the nick of ‘time. The War Gazette is, as usual,. full of interesting events from in and la round the battle front. Two scream(ing comedies are also shown.
For to-morrow night’s change of programme the Keystone Company will supply the star item, entitled “Fatty and Mabel’s Simple Life.” The film is described as a carnival of laughter.

The Press and the p,;lblic eulogised the pl‘od'llCGiOll to the highest standard and its reception there was remarkable, for never has the ‘public seen real Maori actors who
are unique contribution to the Thee-I pian world. The music of “Hinemoa” is of a most inspirational character, whilst the elaborate scenery is bewitching. The native costumes worn in the production are beyond descripition. Many of them are traditional lieidlooms, and are of high value. One costume is made of the skin of an extinct Maori dog. There are many rare ettractioiis introduced into- the production such as Hakas and unique poi dances, and for -their equal in: merit they are unparalleled. The finei music, the unlimited fund of humour, sensation blendid with sentimentality together with immeasurable clmrming novelties constitute 21. very unique and delightful entertainment, and have made the play the outstanding success {it is to-day.
