Newspapers deny the existence of the Turco-Bulgarian prottocol. The Germans are spreading the report of an agreement hoping to avert Roumanian intervention. There are indications that Serbia has sent confidential replies to the Allies, who had negotiated with a view/ to obtaining further*- concessions. The uncertainty of Bulgaria's policy is attributed to Serbia'"iiftd Greece's hesitating attitude; also to the fear of a revolution, which is considered imminent in Turkey.
THE ROUMANIAN SPHINX. London, August 31. The Yossiehe Zeitiing is pessimistic about R'oumania, and says that Germany, expects the unscrupulous Roumanian sphinx to show its claws at the beginning of September.
