A .very successful tfocial and (lance was held in the Coronation Hall, Toko, last evening in aid Of the Wounded Soldiers' Kund, over sixty couples being present. The following able committee attended to all "matters in iVmneetion trith the entertainment: Misses. Mine (3), Butler, Marie].. Weir. C'hainey, Burgharn, and Maxwell. The musical and vocal items were rendered by Mis s Sangster, Mi's Wilks, Messrs Martin and Burgham (songs), Mr J. Crighton (recitation"). The dance music was gratuitously supplied by Mr and Miss Rogers (violin), Miss A. Rogers (piano) and Mr Burmester 'cornet), and was very much enjoyed. The dance was brought to a close at 2 a.m. with ;i vote of thanks to all who assisted to matte the entertainment such a success, and to Mr Weir, who paid for the use of the Customers for Py-Xol Fluid for automatic disinfectoi's, - please- note that the local agents for this highly effective compound of disinfecting oils are Bollringer Bros.
