GIRL KILLED BY A MOTOR.

A little girl named Bessie Robin, was knocked down by a motor car at West Shore last evening and sustained a fractured skull. She was admitted to the Napier Hospital where she died this morning. Wellington, August 21.

John Andrew' Diamond, an employee at Staples’ Brewery, died in the hospital to-day from fracture of the skull as the result of a fall while in a lit. He was formerly a railway guard. j
