WEDDING BELLS.
A very pretty and interesting wedding was solemnised at the ( ardifl Church on August Ith, the contracting parties being Miss Olive Blanche Belcher. third daughter ol M r and .Mrs .) T Belcher, of Cardiff, and Mr Ernest Adolphus Munder, youngest s,m of Mr and Mrs A. Marnier, ol Hawera. The Rev. Howard. Vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Stratford, was the officiating minister. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty dress of cream silk Irish poplin, with cream lace. net. and pear trimmings, with an over-skirt ol cream lace, and the customary veil and orange blossoms. She also wore a gold "bangle, the gift of the bridegroom, and carried a bouquet of spring flowers ami asparagus fern. Abss Me rope Belcher, sister of the bride, and Miss Amelia Maiider. sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Ihe> wore dresses of frosted blue silk crepe de chine and apricot crepe de chine respectively, nutf hats of white tulle and lace trimmed .with flowers to match and carried bouquets ol spring flowers. The two little fh>«er girls, Louisa Lnmmas and Muriel Mander, nieces of the bride and bridegroom respectively, wore dainty dresses of white embroidered voile, and quaint little hats of white lace, trimmed with wreaths of pink flow ms. Kaeli of them carried a basket of (lowers. The bridegroom’s gilts to the two bridesmaids wore gold brooches, sot with pearls ami peridots, and to the little flower girls gold brooches set with amethysts and pearls. Mi Albert Belcher, brother of the bride, performed the duties ol best man. Miss Ethel Coldwell, cousin of the bride, presided at the organ. Altei the ceremony, the parents of the bride entertained the guests at the wedding breakfast at their residence. The happy pair left hy motor amid a shower of rice, confetti, ami good wishes, f.o catclf the afternoon tram for Palmerston North. The bride travelled in a brown cloth skirt and ‘sports coat to match, *nd a brown and black felt hat with brown plume. The presents were numerous and costly, including a number of cheques. In the evening, a dance was held in the Cardiff School.
