The Agents-General have decided to await instructions from the coming conference of the Australian Premiers before formulating definite financial proposals to Mr McKnna. GENERAL McKAY’S GRIT. (Received Noon.) London, August 20. General McKay has been accommodated at Viscount Ridleys House at Chari tollhouse Terrace, which wag lent as a private hospital for officers. His broken leg is in plaster of paris. and will probably take several wdMcs to heal. He is determined to return to the Dardanelles.
