NEWTON KING’S HAYMARKET REPORT, At my Haymarket mi Saturday last 1 bad a full yarding of pigs, and notwithstanding the numbers yarded, competition was keen throughout. All classes were cleared at the fall of the hammer, realising a marked increase of from 2s to 3s per head, compared with those of my previous sale. 1 quote as follows: Slips Ms to 18s (id. weaiiers (small) 18s (id to 21s, good 22s to 23s (3d, small stores 23s 6d to 28s Gd. medium 30s to 32s (3d, good 33s (3<l to 335, 1 pedigree hoar at 5.', guineas, I ditto (3 months) 3gus., calves from 2s to 7s, buggy £2O. T. LAMASON'S WEEKLY REPORT Last Saturday wo had a fairly successful sale, a fairly large audience, and good entry of poultry, produce, furniture and sundries. Hens Is 3d to 3s. roosters Is (3d to 3s. geese 3s to 3s Gd. turkeys 5s to Gs (id, cauliflower 2s Gd to ‘ls per do/,., carrots 3s Gd per sack, apples (hall eases) 3s 6d to Is Gd, bushel cases 7s to 7s 6d.
