FIRE.

SGHOCM. BURNED DOWN.

Per Press [Association

Dunedin, August 17

The school at Wylie’s crossing was burnt to the ground at a late hour last night. Only part of the furniture was saved. It is supposed that in sweeping out ashes from the fireplace a spark may have been left in the broom and smouldered, thus setting lire to the building, which was of wood, and was very old.
