GERMAN PROGRESS REPORT
United Press Association. (Received 1.55 p.m.) Amsterdam, August 17
A German communique states:—We made prisoners of 625 near Kupischky. We stormed the forts south-west from Kovuo betwe'm the Niemeu and the Jesia. capturing 1500 Russians and 2-10 guns.
Von Schultz and Gallwitz pushed hack the enemy, and in continuous fhditiim we made prisoners of ISOO and ten machine guns. Wc stormed and captured one big fort and two intermediate fortified works north-east from Xovo Georgievesk.
The armies of Prince Leopold of Bavaria and Von Mackenseu arc victoriously advancing.
