ENGLISH TRAIN SMASH.
IRISH MAIL DERAILED.
United Press Association. London, August 14-. The second portion of the Irish mail train from Easton was wrecked between BHsworth and Weedon. A connecting rod on an engine on an adjoining set of rails broke, and the Irish Mail’s engines fouled th® broken rod. and derailed five which overturned. Eight people were killed and thirty injured. Mr Arthur Lynch, ALP., and Lord Mounteagle were among the injured va the smash. Four sorters in the limit van were killed. TOTAL DEATHS NUMBER 12. (Received 8 a.m.) London. August 15. Tim total deaths at Weedon ner* t welve.
