At the Wellington Supremo Court, Laetitia Jane Hood, was charged with publishing defamtory libel concerning Lily Hood (now and for ton years a nun of Ihe Wanganui Convent). The letter containing the libel was sent to Archbishop O’Shea. John Palliser, from whom accused said she had got certain information, gave the story an absolute denial. 'lhe jury has retired to consider their verdict.
