The ladies’ July medal competition was played on the 10th inst., and was won by Mrs S. Spence. The scores were as follows : Mrs Spence 120 (handicap 17), 100. Miss O’Brien 126 (17), 109. Mrs Abfahaiu 126 (15), 110. Miss Fuss el I 133 (20), 113. Miss M. Paget 171 (36), 135. Miss G. Uniaclve 195 (44), 151, On the 11th inst. a match was played here against'the,Hawera' Club, who sent a team of nine players. The match was,won by Stratford with six wins, 2 loses, and 1 half game.
