’ RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. 1 * Per Press Association. 1 Christchurch, August 9. At Riccarton on Sunday Pride o’ 1 Clutha and Maltegarde did six furlongs in 1.19 1-5. Bluestone and Lolorna in 1.19 1-5 ■ Plunder and Hanmakaha in 1.18, and Raupani in 1.18. | This morning most of the work was done on the tan. 1 ahrikoff did five furlongs in 1.6; Petrosas and Cervolisj three furlongs in 1.31 3-5. George did the last five furlongs of six in 1.5. Capt. Glossop and Ruatangata covered six furlongs in 1.26. Bodenham, Prince Laddo, Pearlform, and Fortify were together at the end of a half mile in 49 4-5.- Derby Day and Dee did four furlongs in oOsees. Multiply beat Birkline over five furlongs in 1.4 1-5. Morning was in front of Braehurn at the end of a found, the last seven furlongs being covered in 1.36. Haskayne did the last five iurlongs out of six in 1.4. Banksia beat Emperador over six furlongs in 1.15 1-5. Diavolo jumped five hurdles well’. Agatha Green was better than Haupata over a round of the big fences.
