Thf eighth annual report of the Tariki Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, to be presented to the meeting of shareholders at Tariki Hall on August 10 states that last year thero was manufactured 127 tons 2cw 2qrs 121 b of cheese, and of butter 4 tons 7cwt lqr 151 b. Suppliers will, in the aggregate, receive 17.6 d per lb for butter-fat for the year. Cheese making took place from September G, 1914, to May 29. 1915, and buttermaking was carried on in July and August, 1914 : also in June, 1915. The milk supplied for cheese totalled 2,679.5111 b, butter-fat 107.1001 b. casein 68,0781 b. the average test for but-ter-fat being 4.0, for casein 2.5, milkto II) of cheese 9.41, cheese to lb of butter-fat 2.65, cheese to "lb of buttei--2.65, cheese to lb of casein 4.18. For butter-making the milk 'totalled 227.261 H), butter-fat 90631 b, average test 3.99, lb of milk to lb of ttutter 20.8, butter to lb of butter-fat 1.20. The balance-sheet .shows ,n profit on the working account of £3435 12s lOd. after allowing £227 12s for depreciation, the surplus of assets over liabilities being £3174 2« lOd. The retiring directors, Messrs Harkness, Cowley and Stephenson, are eligible for re-election.
