FRENCH PRESIDENT'S MESSACE. ALLIES' FIRM CONFIDENCE. [United Press Association.] (Received 1.40 p.m.) Paris, August 5. M. Poincare sent a message to the Senate and Deputies on the Anniversary of the War, emphasising the great curent of* national fraternity which swept all disputes and differences aside. Masters and workmen, rich and poor, he said, had united to face the enemy of France with confident calm. He declared that the only peace the Republic would accept was one that would guarantee the safety of Europe, and which would reconstitute our dismembered country and protect it effectively against/an offensive return of Germanic ambition. If France wants to win. she will win. France is sure of her Allies, and they are sure of France.
