TARANAKI WOOL SKIN, HIDE, AND TALLOW SALES. NEWTON KINO’S REPORT. At my four-weekly .sale on the 2Tt.li July, 1 catalogued 29 halos ami SO sacks of wool, 1617 sheepskins, 6 casks and 67 tins of tallow, 11 boxes of margarine, 821 hides and 271 calfskins. to a full attendance of buyers. Competition was very keen, prices for good lines of sheepskins .showing an advance, but neglected and inferior hardly held their own. Clutchingrecovered the drop of last saie am! advanced lid to 2d per lb. Hides advanced again }d to Id per lb, with the exception of farmers, which hardly maintained late rates. Tallow ai d calf skins no change.
