At -Mr (!. F. Scott’s clearing sale on Wednesday last, the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., offered on account of V. Smith, Esq., Midhirst, one yearling heifer in aid of the Wounded Soldiers’ hind, which was sold and resold as lollows : —-Pur-, cliksed by E. H. Linnell at ss, re-offer-ed and purchased by, respectively, M . H. Best, 1L Duflil, jnr.. Thus. Chamney, H. Dnffill, senr.. Chapman Pros.. A. Fenwick, G. Scott, T. O’Connor. W. A.'Hewitt (Loan Co.L G. -Mann. H. Woison. and finally by V. Smith, all at 5s each.
