SKILLED WORKMEN RETAINED

Senator Ready asked, in view of rejected volunteers being taunted with “white feathers,” particularly by women, would Air Pearce (Defence) consider giving them a, badge. Air Pearce replied that they were give i a certificate, and it would he inadvisable to issue a badge, as there "as no guarantee it would remain in the possession of the proper persons.
