WARSAW STILL SAFE. POSITION UNCHANGED IN SOUTH-EAST. United Prfss Association. (Received* 12.85 a.m.) Berlin, July 28. A German communique states:—
We made prisoners, of 1000 scattered Russians between Milan and the Niemeu. We captured Noworow. north of Serosh. On both banks of the Xarew, the Russians’ counter-attack south of Xasielsk failed, the enemy losing 2500 prisoners and seven machineguns at Xasielsk and near llor.ani. We stormed the village of Piero near Blonie, which is twenty-four'' kilometres west of the Warsaw forts. The position in the south-east is unchanged.
