Manny well known citizens of Strafford have kindly lent their motor cars for to-morrow evening, and have decided to travel with the Company.

Horses from as far north as Hellensvillo and Auckland, and down south to Christchurch and Ashburton, will he seen trying conclusions, so that some good sport may he looked forward to. The quarterly weting of the Taranaki Methodist Ministerial Council was hold yesterday at Inglewood. There were present: Revs. A. 13. Chappell, M.A. (president), C. H. Olds, B.A. (secretary), T. (i. Hammond, .). \V. Green, A. Header, K. 0. Blamires, 11. White, A. 0. Harris, C. Blair, W. S. Xeal. and .Messrs J. R. Nelson and A. Smart. Routine business was transacted. In addition two papers were read, one by the Rev. H. White upon "Our Provincial Problem" (in which the relation of the dairy industry to religious observances was treated), and the other by the Rev. E. 0. Blamires on "Prophecy, with special reference to the Second Coming of Christ." Both papers evoked good discussion. In the evening the Rev. T. 0.
