SCOTTISH SOCIETY.

TO-MORROWS FUNCTION. At the Town Hall to-morrow, at 2.30 p.m., his Worshop the Mayor (Mi- Jos. Boon), will open the bazaar v in aid ol the Sick and Wounded Returned Troopers' Fund. Hundreds ol' beautiful articles will be on view tor sale, and there are sure to be some rare bargains. The Hall should he packed. Every shilling spent will help to swell the fund, every penny ol' which will be needed. The Ladies' Committee have charge of the afternoon tea and supper, which can be obtained in the supper room for the small sum of (id. At 8 o'clock the grand concert will commence. A splendid programme has been provided, winch will include the best talent in the province. Immediately after the concert the gift auction sale will lie held, when everything donated will be sold to the highest bidder. The fun should be fast and furious and ought not to be missed. The public are reminded that all art unions and raffles will be drawn and the winners announced during the gift auction sale. A .question asked is Who is going to win Hall's, section. The committee regret not being able to publish a full list of donations received, as space will not permit of this being done. The evening's entertainment will conclude with a dance, (liven a fine night, Tuesday, the '27th inst., should be remembered as a great effort

on Stratford's part in aid of our sick and wounded comrades. Prior to the commencement of the concert the Taranaki Pipe Band, and the Stratford Town Band will parade in Broadway and play to and in front of the Hall. As no effort hasv been spared by the Committee, it only remains for the public to roll up at the Hall to make the function a complete success.
