fatal railway accident. Pint PfIKSS ASSOC lAT OK. Auckland, July 22. The collision which occurred at King’s Street level crossing between a train and a trap yesterday terminated fatally this afternoon, when Robert Barber, baker and confectioner, who was driving the trap, died from his injuries. PHOTOGRAPHER’S SUICIDE. Auckland, July 22, A photographer named Robert Love was this morning found dead iu his studio iu Ponsouby, with a bullet wound in his head. One hand was clasping the muzzle of a pea rifle. DROWNED AT OKERE. Rotorua, July 22. William Hartley, aged 40 years, employed by the Public Works Department in the erection of a bridge at Okere, was drowned to-day through the collapase of a. staging. He leaves a wife and two children. His mate, named Pearson, was also precipitated into the water, hut got ashore. Hartlev’s Ikklv has not been recovered.
