" f The presence of mind of two children in attempting to prevent a mishap to a train has been reported by a railway official. A few days ago, when the morning train from Waihi was approaching Macjsaytown, a little boy and girl were seen in the middle of the track struggling with a large rock which had fallen from the side of the road. When the children found that the could not remove the rock, they promptly gave a danger signal, and the train was brought to a standstill.
