SICK AND WOUNDED FUND—OR FUNDS.

[To Tbh Editor Stratford Post.) Sir.-—With regard to the Wounded Soldiers’ Belief Fund, I understand that the Scottish Society arc collecting, with a view of establishing a fund of their own. Now, I don t think the public generally are informed ot this, but presume that all monies collected are to be placed with the general fund already established- If it is a fact that this is tin' intention of the Scottish Society, then they should immediately say so. ! think that establishing more than one fund a great mistake. The Patriotic Committee were elected by the people of Stratford and are responsible to them for all monies collected, while, on the other hand, the Scottish Society is only responsible to its members. It the Scottish Society decide to band their hinds to the Patriotic Committee, please procure for me with the one pound note J now enclose eight tickets in the raffle for the Hall section, and d i

win. have section put up f"i- auction on behalf of the fund, but if they persist in maintaining a hind ot their own. then give my donation to the fund already established, i am, etc. SCOTTTF. ißeference to this matter is made editorially.—Ed. S.E.P.).
