ALL WELL ON THE MAHENO. Per Viivms Association. Wellington. .July 20. His Excellency the Governor has received information by cable from the Hon. Colonel Dr. Collins, advksing that the Mrtheno arrived safely at Adelaide, on Saturday, .Inly 17th. Colonel Collins reports all well on board, and mentions that on Sunday liis Excellency the Governor of South Australia and Lady (,'ahvay paid, a visit to the ship, which was much admired. Tt is expected that (ho Maheiio will reach Colombo on the night of July .'list.
ANOTHER MEAT SHIP. Wellington, July 20. The New Zealand Shipowners' Overseas Committee has arranged for the P. and (). steamer .Benalla, with a do.ooo carcase capacity, and cubic .space for -12,-;00 carcases, to load in New Zealand at the end of August, or early in September. This, is aditiional to the.steamers to load here in August, and the eight steamers fixed for the September loading.
