MISSING AUSTRIAN SUBMARINES Unit no Punas Association. ■ (Received 12.2,5 p.m.) Rome. July 19. A' refugee from I’ola reports that two Austrian submarines reconnoitring on the Italian const did not return. and it is believed that they were lost.
BRITISH SUBMARINE’S WORK.
IN THE SEA OF MARMORA. United Press Association. Sofia,July 19. Constantinople advices state that a British submarine sank the steamer Besgas on the Asiatic side of the sen jof Marmora ; also two lighters and a steamer which were unloading in Tfardar Pasha Harbour.
A torpedo missed a steamer loading at the Tophaneli quay and damaged two hundred yards of wharfing.
