LOCAL AND GENERAL.
The lecture to h 0 given by Lieutenant Gray at the Homo Defence parade has been postponed until next week. Pal ado will be held as usual to-night at 7.30 o’clock.
The annual general meeting of the Stratford Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., will he held on Mop day next, 20th hist. The business before the meeting will lie consideration of annual report, election of officers, and general.
Dir (i. E. Curry lias been appointed by the Stipendiary Stewards to the Committee of the New Zealand Having Conference as Stipendiary Steward in place of ’Mr H. (). Duncan who resigned. Mr Cnrry has been acting for a considerable time as as deputy Stipendiary Steward.— I*. A.
