FOOTBALL.
JUNIORS. At Stratford yesterday, the local juniors defeated Eltham by 15 points to 10, In eaeh team’s score was a goal from the field. Air 1 liomson refereed.
At New Plymouth. High School had an easy win over Inglewood Juniors. scoring 50 points to nil. All Page was reteree. At Western Park. Tnkapa and Chiton Juniors played a draw, each side scoring i) points. The game was very willing, being mostly confined to the forwards, though there were occasional flashes of hack play. l-immer (Clifton) was ordered oil the field for rough play. Mr (). West refereed. SECOND JUNIORS. Stratford and Stratford District High School tried conclusions at Stratford yesterday, the match resulting in a draw, there being no score. Mr Nnttall refereed. At tin* Recreation Ground, New Plymouth Technical College and Eltham also played a draw. It proved a hard, willing game, neither side scoring. Technical College now has a lead of two points in this division. Mr Roberts refereed.
At Waitara. High School defeated Clifton 111. by ‘2(5 points to S. Mr lohnson refereed.
