J)r. Waddy Moss has been elected president of the Wesleyan Conference, states a London cablegram.
Trooper S. Smitbers, of the Australian Forces, who lias been wounded, resided in New Zealand for several venrs.

O'Callaghan; a claim for commission on the .sale of a motor jcar. ‘ After Itearjng ithe evidence' and His Worship’ light that plhintiff musty fail and judgment accordingly. 1 Costs'amounting to £2 17s were allowed defendant.
Mr E. Moss has been appointed as the representative of the Xew Zealand Sheepowners’ and Farmers' Federation on the advisory board of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, and Messrs H. D. .Vavasour and H. Morrison as representatives to attend the annual meeting of that body.
