COMMONWEALTH’S OFFER OF MORE MEN ACCEPTED.

Melbourne. July 16

Fu the House, Mr Fisher stated that the Imperial authorities had accepted the Commonwealth’s offer to double the October and Xovember reinforcements. making 10,526 men per month, instead of 5263; also to send one infantry brigade with a bridge signal section, a brigade train, and a field ambulance, these to leave in Xovember.

Mr Fisher introduced a War Loan Bill of twenty millions, which worhl be applied only to expenses of war and borrowing.
