Rescued eight. Five left in a boat for Omo or Tongatabu a fortnight ago.” There were thirteen men in the crew. Further news of the Strathcona by wireless states that the vessel was wrecked on the North Minerva reef, between Fiji and the Kcrmadecs. A relief steamer now reports that nine oi the men were rescued and all were well. This message was interrupted when starting to give the list ol names.
