The Herald protests against the brutal effrontery of the commander of a German '.submarine compelling the American barque Normanby to act as a mask while Russian merchantmen were sunk. It demands a prompt disavowal and apology for the Normanby's temporary arrest. THE FLEET'S MOVEMENTS. GERMAN SPIES WATCHING. (Received 11 .5 a.m.) London. July I I. .The Press Bureau states that two alleged spirs have been arrested and will lie court-martialled on Friday lor attempting to communicate information regarding the Fleet. SWEDISH SCHOONER MINED. (Received 8.30 a.m.) /Copenhagen. July 14. The Swedish schooner Daisy, coallacJen From Kngland to Sweden, was mined at AJandrt. Five, including the captain, were drowned.
