GALA DAY, JULY 20. A further -meeting of the 'Scottish Society was held last evening when tin Me was a Luge attendance of members and who were all very enthusiastic. Mr G. Sangster presided. The various sub-committees reported that everything was well forward for the Concert and Gift Auction Sate. It was decided if possible to hold the Mock Court in the premises lately occupied by the C.B.A. Boot Arcade, and also to open the Bazaar at 2.30 no Tuesday afternoon. The canvassing committee recommended that the pigs, etc., he sold at Xfcwton King’s Hayniarket, on Saturday next, and that the fowls, chaff, tank, etc., he sold at Mr T. Lamason’s on the same day, those making donations to be asked to forward same in time for the sale. They further recommended that the cattle, sheep, etc., already donated be sold at the sale yards on Tuesday. July 20th, commencing at 12 o’clock sharp, also to invite those who bad not yet made donations "of stock, and were desirous of so doing to bring them to the sale. The following additional donations have come to hand during the last few days:—Mr Hayiock, Cardiff, cheque for Co; Mr Henderson, Toko, two springing heifers; Mr Sydney Pitt, Stratford, two springing heifers ; Mr Wickham, Xgaere, springing Jersey heifer; Mr Harry Johnson, Stratford. spring Jersey cow ; Mr Fenwick, Midhirst, Jersey heifer; Mr Alex Mackay. Stratfoi;d, heifer; Mr R. McK. Morison, Stratford, pedigree Jersey hull; Mr Gray, Douglas, seven head of cattle and leading dog; Mr Geo. Perrott, Malice, Jersey heifer; Mr Horace Phillips, Xgaere, several head of cattle ; Mr Geo. Smart. Stratford, 400 gallon tank; Mr Mcßride, Stratford, i-tou chaff; Mr E. Bonner, Stratford, one great goat; Mrs. J. . Vickers, Midhirst, one great goat. It was decided to call a further meeting of the. committee for Monday evening at 7.30 in Mr McAllister's Studio.
