ELTHAM AUCTION MARTREPORT

On Thursday last we held a sale on behalf of Mr W. Leppard, of Mangatoki. when we offered the whole of his plant. There was a good attendance of buyers and satisfactory prices were realised. Our usual weekly sale at the Auction Rooms was not up to the usual standard, live stock entries not coming forward owing to the rhugh weather. We quote fowls Is 3d to Is lOd, trap horse £22, chaff cutter £6. We also held a sale on Saturday at Blackball’,s Buildings, on behalf of a client, of a quantity of furniture, and there were a goodly number of buyers present, and the stock being new, sold at satisfactory prices.
