SUCCESS OF RUSSIAN EFFORTS.
United Press Association. (Received 5.20 a.m.) Amsterdam, July 11. German war correspondents admit •that the enormous Russian efforts partly forced the Austro-Gennans to relinquish their advanced fronts owing to the risk to the flanks and also in order to straighten their line.

.Owing to differences over Galicia, the Kaiser for ’ some days refrained from sending his usual morning telegram to the Emperor Franz Josef. It was notable that General \on aiu■denburg’s nanie was not mentioned in recent despatches. The Austrians complaut that there are too many Germans in the Austrian Army, and are treating them with contempt, asserting that the reconquest of Galicia was due to the Germans. ••
