HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The principal feature of the new series of films presented at His Majsty's Theatre last night was envied "Australia's Unknown." The film occupied the whole of the second fian of the programme and was watched with keen interest by the audience. Two daring motorists essayed to conquer and bring back to civilisation moving picture records of what has been hitherto unexplored Australia, and the 4000 feet of film screened last night proved beyond doubt the success of the adventures' enterprises. The motorists are first' Keen leaving ■George Street, Sydney, amidst the cheers and hearty send off's of rhe dense crowds in the street. A series of most interesting pictures are then shown, and there are peeps into the wilds of, the northern territory, revealing the mysteries of a bushland beyond the ken of the white man. A splendid supporting programme of films was shown, chief of which, perhaps, was a comedy by the famed Keystone Co., entitled "Among the Mourners," featuring Sid Chaplin.
The war pictures were, as usual, full of the latest from England and tlio Continent. The same programme will be repeated to-night and to-morrow night, and on Saturday afternoon a matinee will be held, commencing at 2 p.m. sharp.
